It happened in WWll

Francis & Preston Ferguson were in the service during WWII, Preston was on the Island of Layte in the Army & Francis was in the Marine Corps & stationed on  ship which traveled back & forth across the Pacific taking troops and supplies over there & bringing back Prisoners etc.

Francis always knew where Preston was by writing to Mom, so on one of Francis' trips across the Pacific he docked at the Layte Island & got permission to go to shore to see if he could find Preston.  To make it short he found his brother & they both went out to the ship & Preston got to spend the day & one night on the ship.   This is a picture of them on the ship.
